With Dr. Arun Radhakrishnan’s leadership, the Centre for Effective Practice has partnered with the Atlantic Mentorship Network - Pain & Addiction and Pain BC to develop adaptive mentoring networks in the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and British Columbia.

The Atlantic Mentorship Network is a non-industry-funded, multi-faceted organization whose goal is to improve the capacity of community-based primary care providers and allied health care professionals to provide evidence-informed, compassionate care to people living with chronic pain, substance use and/or mental health through adaptive mentorship. It maintains Provincial Networks in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

Pain BC's Pain Support Line provides free information, support, and a listening ear to people wanting to talk about their own pain or that of a family member or friend. In addition to supporting people living with pain, the Pain Support Line also responds to enquiries from health care professionals and other organizations.

Pain Support and Wellness Groups

Pain BC's groups provide online pain education and ongoing peer mentorship and support to people living with persistent pain throughout BC. Pain Support and Wellness Groups offer an opportunity for people living with persistent pain to meet regularly online and build a community of support while learning about pain, pain management and coping strategies. Groups meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month for 2 hours with alternating mid-day and evening sessions.
