Putting the Pieces Together conference

November 2 - 6, 2026

A free virtual conference for and by people with pain

Eight million people in Canada live with chronic pain, a condition that can affect every aspect of a person's life, including physical and mental health, work, play, and relationships. Registration is now open for Putting the Pieces Together 2026, taking place November 2-6 online.

Last year, more than 700 people joined us for the 2025 virtual conference; you can watch or revisit all of those sessions on our YouTube channel!

This year's agenda spans the full breadth of the pain community's priorities,  from equity, diversity and inclusion, to pediatric pain and connected care, pain and mental health, art-based storytelling, peer support groups, trades workers and pain, and how AI is shaping the future of pain care, alongside practical sessions on wellbeing and building a flare plan.

Full agenda and speaker bios are available on the registration page.

Why are we Putting the Pieces Together?

The conference name, Putting the Pieces Together, is inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold.  We see ourselves like the re-imagined artworks - no longer in our original form but, instead, taking on a new beauty and strength, reinforced by our many connections.
